I try to have a diverse list of activities that I participate in. I play sled hockey, mountain bike, workout, run and enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors. I always try and reach a certain level of competency when I am involved in different activities and hobbies. I think it is important to show students that you are confident in all activities we pursue. Self Assessment: Target - I achieved this standard by participating in at least four content areas multiple times over my lifetime. I have continued to pursue opportunities to be active in various disciplines. Most recently, my sled hockey team placed 3rd in the nation during the tier 1 sled hockey nationals. |
My fitness level was assessed during the Spring 2018 semester. I completed the Presidential Youth Fitness Challenge three times during that semester in order to better understand Health-Related Fitness, as well as ensure that I was maintaining a health-enhancing level of fitness throughout the program. I was able to improve or maintain my fitness in every area of health-related fitness including body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.
Self Assessment: Target - I achieved this standard by maintaining a level of fitness throughout the entire semester. I have continued and will continue to maintain fitness levels as time goes on. I feel that it is important to lead by example and show students that I practice what I preach. |
